ORDER

Heard the learned counsel for the writ petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondents 1 and 2. Issuance of notice to the third respondent is dispensed with. 2.The petitioner filed O.S.No.88 of 2009 on the file of the District Munsif Court, Sivakasi seeking the relief of declaration and mandatory injunction. The suit was decreed on 24.11.2011. It was also confirmed by the first appellate Court in A.S.No.32 of 2018 on the file of the Sub Court, Sivakasi. The third respondent herein is said to have purchased the property from the losing defendant.

3.Be that as it may, a decree that has become final, can very well be registered by the registering authority. The petitioner is therefore permitted to present the certified copy of the decree before the second 2/4

respondent. It is well settled that the time limit stipulated in Section 23 of the Registration Act is inapplicable to registration of Court's decrees. The second respondent is directed to register the said decree upon being presented by the writ petitioner.
