Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, forbearing the private respondents 3 to 8 or any other persons claiming under them from conducting any separate temple festival of Aruligu Pattatharasi Amman, Sri Madurai 1/4

Veeran and Sri Karuppasamy Temple at Karichipatti on 09.09.2025 and consequently direct the respondents 1 and 2 to ensure law and order by preventing any illegal conduct of festival on the basis of the petitioner's representation dated 30.08.2025.

ORDER

The Writ Petition is filed for Mandamus to direct the respondents 3 to 8 not to conduct the temple festival.

2. From the averments made in the affidavit, it is seen that there is a dispute between the petitioner and the respondents 3 to 8. Such disputes cannot be decided by the respondent Police and consequently, this Court cannot issue any direction to the respondent Police. The Writ Petition is misconceived and accordingly dismissed.
