This Writ Petition has been filed for a direction to the respondents to sanction and disburse incentive increment to the petitioner for passing B.Ed., during the academic year 2014-2016 from the date of passing the examination as per G.O.Ms.No.1023 dated 09.12.1993 and also grant permission to pursue higher education by considering the representation of the petitioner dated 31.08.2017.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Government Pleader would submit that during the pendency of the writ petition, Government passed a government order in G.O.Ms.No.37 Personnel and Administrative Reforms(FR-IV) Department, dated 10.03.2020 cancelling the scheme of sanction of advance increments in all Departments.

3. Recording the said submission, this Writ Petition stands closed. No Costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed. However, the petitioner is at liberty to work out his remedy in the manner known to law.
