PRAYER : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent Nos.1 to 4 to conduct enquiry and initiate appropriate proceedings to recover the amount misappropriated to a tune of Rs.3 Crores by the respondent No.5 and consequently forbear the respondents 1 to 4 from initiating any act of recovery against the petitioners.

The prayer made in this Writ Petition is to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 to 4 to conduct enquiry and initiate appropriate proceedings to recover the amount misappropriated to a tune of Rs.3 Crores by the fifth respondent and consequently forbear the respondents 1 to 4 from initiating any act of recovery against the petitioners.
2. When the matter was taken up for hearing today, on instructions, the learned counsel appearing for the respondents 1 to 4 4/6
submitted that on the charges of misappropriation, the fifth respondent was removed from service, after due departmental proceedings.
