ORDER

The petitioner, the landlord of an apartment located in Vivekananda Nagar, Pazhavanthankattalai Panchayat, Thanjavur, finding that his property, which was rented out to the third respondent, had been attached by the second respondent Police in Crime No.757 of 2023, sent a representation on 14.08.2024, requesting the second respondent to return the keys of the flat. However, no action was taken. Therefore, the petitioner has filed the present petition.

2. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal side) submitted that, following the petitioner's representation, the petitioner was called for an enquiry on 27.11.2024. During the enquiry, the petitioner produced the rental agreement between himself and the third respondent. After satisfying with the petitioner's contentions and after enquiry, the key was returned to the petitioner with an acknowledgment. Both the petitioner's letter and the rental agreement acknowledgment are produced before this Court.
