This writ petition has been filed for a direction to the third respondent to consider the candidature of the petitioner for the post of Village Assistant.

2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that initially the petitioner has filed a Writ Petition for a Mandamus directing the third respondent to consider the petitioner's candidature and subsequently, the petitioner's candidature was rejected. Thereafter, the petitioner has filed another Writ Petition in W.P(MD)No.4723 of 2010 before this Court and the said Writ Petition was also dismissed. Hence, nothing survives for adjudication in this Writ Petition.
