Respondent Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent to disburse the benefit of encashment of Earned Leave and Unearned Leave on Private Affairs at the credit of the petitioner as on 31.07.2016 (i.e., date of superannuation) along with interest at 18% per annum from the date of retirement (i.e., 31.07.2016) to the date of payment, within a time limit to be fixed by this Court.
