PRAYER :- To enlarge the petitioner on bail in respect of the crime mentioned in C.C.No.273 of 2025 on the file of the II Additional District Judge (NDPS ACT), Madurai.

ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner, who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 23.01.2025 for the offences punishable under Sections 20(b) (ii) (C), 21 (C), 23(C), 25, 27A, 28 and 29 of the NDPS Act, 1985 in C.C.No.273 of 2025 on the file of the II Additional District Judge (NDPS ACT), Madurai, seeks bail.

2. This Court had earlier granted interim bail to the petitioner on condition that he shall surrender before the respondent on 20.11.2025.

3. The learned Special Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent police submits that the petitioner has complied with the said condition and surrendered before the respondent police.

4. The learned counsel for the petitioner now submits that the interim bail granted earlier may be extended and that the petitioner may be granted regular bail.

5. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court is not inclined to entertain this petition at this stage.

6. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition stands closed. However, the petitioner is at liberty to seek regular bail in the manner known to law.
