ORDER

This petition has been filed for seeking a direction to direct the respondents 1 and 2 to give adequate police protection for renovation of the 'Arulmigu Santhana Mariamman Temple' situated at Senthil Street, Veerapandiapattinam, Tiruchendur Taluk, Tuticorin District based on the representation of the petitioner, dated 08.07.2017.

W.P.(MD).No.19411 of 2017 2.As per the information furnished by the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) on 16.02.2021 that in Peace Committee Meeting, which was held on 18.07.2017, before the Tahsildar, Tiruchenthur, matter was compromised between the parties.

3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that based upon the submission made by the learned counsel for the State, orders may be passed.

4.In view of the compromise reached between the parties, in Peace Committee Meeting, dated 18.07.2017, nothing survives in this matter for further adjudication.

5. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs.
