O R D E R

The present Writ Petition has been filed by an Assistant Engineer working in the respondent Electricity Board seeking a Mandamus to revoke the order of suspension, dated 21.04.2023.

2. A perusal of the suspension order reveals that the petitioner has been placed under suspension on being trapped and arrested by the Vigilance and Anti-Corruption Department. The petitioner has given a representation to the respondents on 21.03.2024, seeking revocation of the said suspension order. Since the same has not been considered, the present writ petition has been filed.

3. The learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents submits that since it is a DVAC case, they have to obtain No Objection Certificate from the Vigilance and Anti Corruption Department before passing any orders.

4. In view of the above said facts, the respondents are directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 21.03.2024 and pass orders 2/4

depending upon the opinion expressed by the Vigilance and Anti-Corruption Department within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of opinion from the Vigilance and Anti-Corruption Department.

5. With the above said observations, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
