ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner, who was arrested on 01.08.2022 for the offences punishable under Sections 120B, 147, 148, 341, 302 r/w. 149 IPC, in Crime No.118 of 2013, on the 1/3

file of the respondent Police, has moved this eighth application, seeking bail that he is languishing in jail for more than two years.

2. Considering the conduct of the petitioner for his involvement in 13 previous cases, which were registered including the offences under Sections 307 IPC, 302 IPC and Arms Act, the earlier application filed by the petitioner were rejected by this Courts.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) submits that the trial is almost completed and the Investigation Officer alone has to be examined.

4. Since the trial is almost completed by examining all the witnesses except the Investigating Officer, this Court is not inclined to consider the case of the petitioner.

5. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. However, the trial Court, namely, III Additional District Court, Tirunelveli, is directed to conclude the trial in S.C.No.22 of 2023, by examining the Investigating Officer, without any further delay and also dispose of the case as expeditiously as possible.
