Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the first respondent to consider and pass orders on the petitioner's representation, dated 02.10.2017, claiming for weightage marks for Employment Seniority, Additional Qualifications and Teaching Experience in the recruitment to the post of B.T. Assistants within the time stipulated by this Court.

ORDER
The grievance of the petitioner is that the first respondent has given weightage marks for qualification for appointment to the post of B.T. Assistant and has not given any weightage marks for employment seniority and additional qualification. Hence, the petitioner has sent a representation, dated 02.10.2017, to the respondents, claiming weightage marks for employment seniority and additional qualification.
2.The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the third respondent submitted that the Government has issued G.O.Ms.No.71, School Education Department, dated 30.05.2014, giving weightage marks only for the qualification and no such weightage mark was given for the employment seniority and additional https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2
W.P.(MD) No.19502 of 2017 qualification. The said Government Order was upheld by the Hon'ble Supreme Court of India. The petitioner cannot claim weightage marks for employment seniority. Subsequently, no weightage mark was given even for qualification and now, all appointments are made only by way of conducting competitive examination. Therefore, the question of considering the petitioner's representation, dated 02.10.2017, claiming weightage marks for employment seniority and additional qualification, does not arise.
3.In view of the abovesaid submission made by the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the third respondent, this Writ Petition stands dismissed. No costs.
