ORDER

A report was directed to be filed as regards S.No.1653/9 of O.Kovilpatti, Ondipulinayakannur Village, Virudhunagar District and today, the report has been filed by the first respondent indicating that S.No.1653/9 has been classified as "Sarkar Poramboke" with an extent of 179 sq. ft. and that S.No.1653/8 has been classified as "Theru".

2. From the files, it could be seen that the Block Development Officer, Virudhunagar, in his communication to the Government Advocate in the month of July, 2018, had indicated that there has been no laying of paver blocks in the land in S.No.1653/9, which the petitioner claims to be his property.

3. In such an event, I am of the view that no further adjudication is required to be made in this writ petition and the Writ Petition is accordingly closed. However, the petitioner is at liberty to approach the authorities concerned for reclassification, if he is so entitled to. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
