ORDER

The petitioner seeks a Writ of Mandamus, to forbear the 2nd respondent from interfering with the civil dispute between the petitioner and 3rd respondent, based on the petitioner's representation dated 12.08.2025.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that a complaint was sent by the 3rd respondent's son against the petitioner and enquiry is being conducted only to ascertain whether a cognizable offence is made out and that they would not interfere in any civil dispute.

3. In the light of the above submission, the second respondent is directed to complete the enquiry within a period of one week from today, by following the dictum laid down by the Hon'ble Supreme Court in Lalitha Kumari V. Government of U.P., reported in (2014) 2 SCC 1 and inform the result of the enquiry to the petitioner. 2/4
