Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking issuance of a Writ of Mandamus forbearing the respondents from distributing Milch Cows to the ineligible persons in the fourth respondent Panchayat and directing the respondents to select the petitioner as a beneficiary to get the Milch Cows under the Scheme for Free Distribution of Milch Cows.

When the writ petition came up for hearing today, learned Counsel for the petitioner submitted that the relief sought for in the writ petition has become infructuous and nothing survives for further adjudication. He has also made an endorsement to that effect.
