After submitting an application for survey, the present writ petition has been filed on the ground that no action was taken thereon.

2. Learned counsel for the petitioner relies on registered sale deed dated 27.08.2018 and Patta No.1990 as evidence of the petitioner's title and rights in respect of the relevant property.

3. Learned Special Government Pleader accepts notice on behalf of all the respondents. He submits that the petitioner's request for survey would be acted upon within twelve weeks.

4. Upon examining registered sale deed dated 27.08.2018 and Patta No.1990, a case is made out to consider the petitioner's request for survey. Since such survey may have an impact on owners of adjacent lands, such persons should be put on notice. Therefore, this writ petition is disposed of by directing the respondents to take action on the petitioner's application for survey after putting the petitioner and the 2/4

owners of adjacent lands on notice. The entire exercise shall be completed within twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
