ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition is filed to direct the Respondents No.1 and 2 to give necessary Police protection to the life and limb of the petitioner, on the basis of the Petitioner's representation dated 26.10.2023.

2.Learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that private respondents are neighbouring land owners, making trouble to the petitioner to measure the property, seeking police protection, request has been made, which is kept pending.

3. Let the representation be disposed of on its own merits by summoning the petitioner as well as the private respondents herein. Let the Tahsildar, Musiri, may undertake the survey under the provisions of the Tamil Nadu Survey and Boundaries Act by issuing summons to the petitioner and the private respondents, after making enquiry. Depending 2/4

upon the outcome of the enquiry, if any trouble is created by the private respondents, he can make a representation to the second respondent seeking police protection. After completing the above said formalities only, if any necessity arises, the second respondent may provide adequate police protection for the purpose of survey. The entire process be completed within a period of one month.

4. With this direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
