The above petition has been filed seeking orders to condone the delay of 9 days in filing the appeal, challenging the award passed in M.C.O.P.No.169 of 2024 dated 29.11.2024 on the file of the Motor Accident Claims Tribunal / Principal District Court, Karur.
2. Despite receipt of notice, the second respondent failed to enter into appearance.
3. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned counsel appearing for the first respondent.
4. Considering the reasons assigned and taking note of the quantum of delay, this Court is inclined to condone the delay. Accordingly, this petition is ordered and the Registry is directed to number the appeal, if it is otherwise in order and list it for admission in the usual course.
