This Writ Petition has been filed seeking direction to the Respondents No.1 to 3 to provide adequate Police protection to conduct the festival of Masi Pachai Maha Sivarathiri in Arulmigu Ochandamman Periya Temple in Pappapatti Village, Usilampatti Taluk with peacefully on 24.02.2017 to 26.02.2017.

W.P.(MD)No.1974 of 2017 2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the prayer sought for in this petition has become infructuous.

3.Recording the said submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs.
