PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1,2 to permit the petitioner to write the examinations conducted by the fourth respondent without insisting to produce community certificate on the basis of the petitioner's representation dated 24.10.2017 till the petitioner complete his B.E (Mechanical Engineering Course).

This writ petition is filed for a Mandamus directing the respondents 1 & 2 to permit the petitioner to write B.E (Mechanical Engineering Course) examinations conducted by the fourth respondent without insisting the community certificate. 2.When this writ petition was taken up for hearing on 2/5
15.06.2023, there was no representation for the petitioner. Hence, this writ petition was ordered to be listed today(16.06.2023) under the caption for dismissal. Even today(16.06.2023), there is no representation for the petitioner.
3.The respondents 1 & 2/Anna University are also represented by a Junior counsel without any instructions. The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the third respondent is also not having any instructions. 4.The prayer sought for in this writ petition is for a Mandamus directing the respondents to permit the petitioner to write B.E (Mechanical Engineering Course) examinations, without insisting community certificate. If the petitioner has obtained the admission based on his communal roaster, he ought to have produced the same before the Institution, where he is studying. This type of relief cannot be entertained by this Court. 3/5
