ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition is filed to direct the 1st respondent to give adequate police protection to the petitioner to restore the electricity connection at Shop No. 10, Golden Plaza Shopping Complex, Keelaveliveethi, Madurai City as per the order in I.A.No.784/2022 in O.S.No. 263/2021 passed by the Learned Pricipal District Munsif Court, Madurai Town dated 25.07.2023.

2.Learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that on the basis of the order passed by the learned District Munsif Court, Madurai, in I.A.No.784/2022, a representation has been made by the petitioner seeking police protection to restore the service connection. He further submitted that there is no violation of the order passed by the competent civil Court.

3. There is no question of granting police protection for restoring the service connection without the order of the competent civil Court. Hence, the petitioner is at liberty to workout remedy through appropriate proceedings.
