Contemnor/Respondent Prayer: This contempt petition is filed under Section 11 of the Contempt of the Courts Act, 1971 praying to punish the respondent for the wilful disobedience of contempt of the order passed by this Court in Crl.O.P.(MD) No.863 of 2016 dated 19.01.2016.

Prayer in CRL OP(MD). 863/ 2016 : To direct the respondent to file final report in Crime No. 810/2014 on the file of the respondent proceed the same as per law within a stipulated time that may be fixed by this Honble court.

This contempt petition has been filed for punishing the respondent for having not obeyed the order of this Court dated 19.01.2016 passed in Crl.O.P.(MD) No.863 of 2016. 2.It is represented by the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) that after investigation, the matter has been closed. 3.According to the petitioner, no closure report has been furnished to the petitioner. However, the respondent produced a copy of the postal receipt to show that RCS has been duly served https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ upon the petitioner.

4.In view of the above submission, this Contempt Petition is closed. No costs.
