Petition filed under Section 11 of the Contempt of Courts Act, 1971, to punish the respondent for the wilful disobedience of the order passed by this Court in W.P(MD)No.10293 of 2016, dated 10.06.2016.

Prayer in WP(MD)No.10293 of 2016 Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to issue notice to the Petitions and Conduct Survey activities in Survey Nos.1214 and 1215.

ORDER

This Contempt Petition has been filed for the disobedience of the order passed by this Court in W.P(MD)No.10293 of 2016, dated 10.06.2016. By the aforesaid order, this Court directed the respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 02.06.2016 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law and also directed the petitioner to lend his assistance and un-stinted co-operation to the respondent for effective and efficacious disposal of the representation. 2.When the matter came up for hearing, learned Government Advocate submitted that pursuant to the order passed by this Court, the respondent has sent several notices to the petitioner to appear before him for enquiry and produced the postal receipts for the same but the petitioner has refused to receive the said notices.

3.In view of the above, it is clear that the petitioner is not obeying the order passed by this Court. Accordingly, this contempt petition is dismissed. No costs.
