O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed for a direction to the first respondent to regularise the petitioner's service as Sub Staff in the second respondent Bank with effect from 17.04.2012, with all consequential benefits.

2. The case of the petitioner is that originally the petitioner was appointed as Sub Staff in the second respondent Bank with effect from 17.04.2012. While so, the Andhra Bank called for applications from eligible candidates for the post of Sub Staffs (81 posts) and the application should be sent on or before 04.04.2017. The petitioner also applied for the above said post, on 2103.2017. Thereafter, the petitioner has sent a representation to the first respondent on 15.05.2017, requesting him to regularise the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

W.P.(MD)No.9728 of 2017 petitioner's service in the post of Sub Staff. However, till date no order was passed. Hence, the petitioner has filed the present writ petition with the aforesaid prayer.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that it would suffice, if the first respondent is directed to dispose of the representation of the petitioner, dated 15.05.2017, on merits and in accordance with law, within a specified period.

4. The learned Standing counsel appearing for the respondents has no serious objection for such an order being passed by this Court.

5. Considering the limited request made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Court, without going into the merits of the matter, directs the first respondent to consider the petitioner's representation, dated 15.05.2017 and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petitions are closed.
