ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed, invoking Section 482 Cr.P.C., seeking orders to direct the second respondent to expedite the investigation in Crime No.241 of 2022 dated 17.05.2022 and file final report within a stipulated time as may be fixed by this Court.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents would submit that based on the complaint lodged by the petitioner, the respondent police registered an FIR in Crime No.241 of 2022 and that the investigation is in progress. Hence, he seeks three months time to file final report before the jurisdictional Magistrate Court.

4. Recording the submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, the second respondent is directed to complete the investigation and file final report in Crime No.241 of 2022 before the 2/4

jurisdictional Magistrate Court, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
