Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 09.11.2020 and reminder dated 07.11.2022 and to issue separate patta to the petitioner regarding the property in New SR.No.48/6B1 to an extent of 4416 sq.ft in Thirukanurpatti Village, Thanjavur Taluk and District.

Heard the learned counsel on either side.

2. The only request made by the petitioner is for directing the respondent to consider the petition mentioned representation for issuance of separate patta. I refrain from going into the merits of the matter. The respondent shall enquire into the petition mentioned representation and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The respondent shall put all the interested persons on notice before passing a final order. It is open to the respondent to pass order one way or the other.

3. This Writ Petition is disposed of accordingly. There shall be no order as to costs.
