ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for a writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents to pay interest at the rate of 18% per annum, for the period of delay from 01.07.2023 to 15.04.2025 in paying the amounts paid towards his terminal/pension benefits namely EPF Employee's contribution, Gratuity, Encashment of leaves and commuted value of pension within a time frame as may be fixed by this court and without affecting his right to claim balance amounts towards those benefits.

Considering the admitted fact that there has been a delay in payment and based on the representation of the petitioner, dated 02.07.2025, the respondents are directed to disburse the interest amount as per the relevant statutory provisions, within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 2/4

3. With the above direction, the writ petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
