ORDER : The Court made the following order :- Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate(Crl. Side) appearing for the respondent.
2. The petitioner is in custody since 08.12.2019, for the offences under sections 120(b), 419 and 420 of I.P.C., in Crime No.1 of 2019, on the file of the respondent police. Hence, he seeks bail.
3. The case of the prosecution is that a number of impersonations were committed while writing N.E.E.T. examination for the year 2019. The petitioner is said to be one of the agents, who had played a considerable role in the scam.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) would point out that the petitioner was in close touch with the main accused. The main accused is still absconding. Investigation is still pending. Of course, the students who wrote the examination were granted bail by this Court and the parents of the students had come out on statutory bail. But then on that score, the petitioner cannot now claim any relief. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) would also point out that the petitioner had paid the examination fees for two of the candidates in respect of whom impersonation was committed.
