... Respondent/ Respondent PRAYER:Contempt Petition is filed under Section 11 of Contempt of Courts Act 1971 to punish the respondents for their wilful and wanton disobedience to the orders of this Court dated 16.02.2016 in W.P. (MD) No.3237 of 2016.

Prayer in WP(MD). 3237/ 2016 :

Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court To issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to regularize the petitioner s service on completion of 1 year of initial entry on the basis of G.O.No.Ms.125 Municipal Administration and Water Supply Department dated 27.05.1999. and also various orders passed by this Honourable Court, with all attendant monetary benefits within a period of time that may be stipulated by this Honourable Court. For Petitioner : Mr.S.Siva Ilayaraja.

For Respondent : Mr.S.Sathish Kumar.

O R D E R

This Court, by order dated 16.02.2016, in W.P.(MD).No.3237 of 2016, directed the petitioner to make a representation to the first respondent within a period of two weeks and directed the first respondent to consider and dispose of the same, in the light of G.O.Ms.No.125, Municipal and Administration and Water Supply Department, dated 27.05.1999, within a period of eight weeks thereafter. 2. Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the respondent, by producing the proceedings of the respondent in Letter No.13749/ME-I/2016-6, dated 08.11.2016 submitted that the order passed in the writ petition has already been complied with.

3.Recording the above submission, this Contempt Petition is closed. No costs.
