Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to pay a) Provident Fund b) Gratuity c) Pension Commutation d) Leave Salary and e) Social Security Scheme Amount with 18% interest per annum to the petitioner within a stipulated period.

ORDER

The contempt petition is filed to punish the contemnor for https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ having willfully and deliberately disobeyed the orders passed by this Court in W.P.(MD)No.1647 of 2016, dated 27.01.2016.

2.Heard Mr.G.Venkataraman, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.A.P.Muthupandian, learned counsel for the contemnor.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned counsel for the contemnor would submit that the pension computation amount was already paid. The respondent has to pay the interest only. The learned counsel for the respondent undertakes to pay the interest within a period of two months from the date of receipt of copy of this order. In case of non-compliance of the order, the petitioner can revive the contempt application.

4. Recording the above submission, this contempt petition is closed. No costs.
