Prayer in WP(MD)No.12928/2015:- Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a writ of Certiorarified Mandamus to call for the records of the respondent impugned order dated 25.04.2014 issued by the respondent and quash the same a illegal and consequently direct the respondent to provide the educational loan to the petitioner.

ORDER

This contempt petition has been filed by the petitioner for the alleged disobedience of the order passed by this Court in W.P.(MD)No.12928 of 2015, dated 23.02.2016. While disposing of the writ petition, this Court directed the respondent bank to consider the application of the petitioner for educational loan and further directed the petitioner to give an undertaking that in the event of sanctioning the loan, the petitioner will follow the guidelines with regard to the repayment schedule.

2.Today, when the matter came up for hearing, learned counsel appearing for the respondent bank submitted that since the petitioner failed to bring pro rate margin (fee amount over the bank loan) as per the guidelines, they are not in a position to disburse the loan. He would further contend that as and when the petitioner produces the said document, they are ready and willing to disburse the educational loan.

3.Recording the said submission made by the learned counsel for the respondent bank, this contempt petition is closed. No costs.
