Contemnors/ Respondents PRAYER: Contempt Petition is filed under Section 11 of Contempt of Courts Act 1971, to punish the respondent for their wilful disobedience of the order passed by this Court, in W.P. (MD) No.6323 of 2016, dated 31.03.2016.

Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 1st respondent to consider Petitioner's representation dated 22.01.2016 and pass appropriate orders for the re-fixation of the pay by taking the services of the petitioner in the 2nd respondent institution with effect from 12.03.1992, including the grant of Selection Grade, annual increment, and all the other particulars, and pay the petitioner the difference in between the re-fixation of the pay of the petitioner and the payments already made to him. O R D E R

This Court, by an earlier order dated 31.03.2016 in W.P.(MD). No.6323 of 2016 had directed the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 22.01.2016 and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law within a period of four weeks. Since the respondents herein have not complied with the same, the petitioner has come up with this contempt petition.

2.Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the respondents, by producing a proceedings in Na.Ka.No.1507/A6/2016, dated 04.10.2016, submitted that the order passed in the writ petition has been complied with and nothing survives in this contempt petition.

3.Recording the above submission, this Contempt Petition is closed. No costs.
