Heard both sides.
2.The petitioners suffered an order of eviction at the hands of the second respondent under Section 6 of the Tamil Nadu Land Encroachments Act, 1905. The petitioners filed statutory appeal under Section 10 of the Act before the first respondent. 3.The first respondent is directed to dispose of the appeal on merits and in accordance with law within a period of twelve weeks from the 2/4
date of receipt of a copy of this order. We make it clear that we have not gone into the merits of the matter.
