ORDER

The present petition is filed to quash the Charge Sheet in Special Case No.26/2019 on the file of Special Court for POCSO cases, Tirunelveli District, in FIR No.16 of 2017 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis

for the offences under Section 417 of IPC and Section 6 of POCSO Act, 2012. 2.The learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Criminal side) appearing for the 1st respondent submitted that subsequent to the offence, the parties are living together and they have two children. Further, it is submitted that the marriage was also registered on 07/11/2025 based on the direction of this Court. The registration certificate is also produced before this Court. 3.Considering the fact that the parties have married, this court is inclined to quash the impugned charge sheet. Hence, impugned charge sheet is quashed and the criminal original petition is allowed.
