Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court Pleased to issue a Writ or Order or Direction or in the nature of Writ of Mandamus directing the Respondents to pay all the terminal benefits payable to the petitioner including salary arrears in terms of settlement under Section 12(3) of the Industrial Disputes Act dated 13.04.2015, Provident Fund, Gratuity, the Commuted Value of Pension, Social Security Scheme arrears and Leave Salary together with interest at the rate of 18% per annum from the date of his retirement to till the date of payment within the time that may be stipulated by this Hon'ble Court.

This Contempt Petition has been filed to punish the respondents for willfully disobeying the order of this court made in W.P(MD)No.23291 of 2015, dated 22.01.2016. 2.When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioner as well as the learned counsel for the respondents submitted that except interest on commutation, other benefits have been paid to the petitioner.

3.In view of the above submission, this Contempt Petition is closed with a direction to the 2nd respondent to pay interest on commutation, if any, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of the order copy. In the event of non-compliance, liberty is granted to the petitioner to revive the contempt. No costs.
