ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for issuance of a writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to give the proper and adequate medical treatment for fractured of left leg of the petitioner's husband, otherwise pass necessary order to transfer the petitioner's husband to the private hospital for provide adequate treatment by considering the petitioner's representation dated 27.12.2019. 2.Heard the learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate(Crl.Side) appearing for the respondents.

3.When the matter was taken up for hearing on 02.01.2020, this Court had directed the Dean/R-6 to conduct emergent surgery on the petitioner's husband/detenue on 04.01.2020 and keep him in the PostOperative General Ward till recovery and thereafter the matter has been posted for reporting compliance on 13.01.2020. 4.When the matter is taken up today (ie., 24.01.2020), the learned Government Advocate (Crl Side) appearing for the respondents would submit that in due compliance of the order passed by this Court, emergency surgery has been conducted on the petitioner's husband on 04.01.2020 and thereafter he has been kept in the PostOperative General Ward. After recovery, he has been transferred to Central Prison, Madurai.

5.Recording the aforesaid submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side), no further order is required in this petition.

6.Accordingly, this writ petition is closed. However, there shall be no order as to costs.
