respondents 1 and 2 to conduct an enquiry based on representation of the petitioner dated 29.08.2025 and thereby restrain the private respondents from preventing the petitioner from contributing for Vari and to participate in the temple festival which is scheduled from 12.09.2025 to 14.09.2025.

ORDER

Heard the learned counsel for the writ petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader for the official respondents. Issuance of notice to the private respondents is dispensed with. 2.The petitioner is said to have married from outside her community. She alleges that she is being discriminated on this ground. 3.The petitioner wants this Court to ensure that "vari" is also collected from her. This direction cannot be passed without hearing the 2/6

other side. The only direction that this Court can give is that the petitioner is also entitled to participate in the petition mentioned temple festival like any other devotee. If the petitioner is prevented from offering worship like any other devotee without claiming any special right, she is at liberty to lodge a complaint before the jurisdictional police and the jurisdictional police are directed to ensure that the rights of the petitioner to offer worship are upheld.
