Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court To issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to settle the petitioners retirement benefits including provident fund, earned leave salary, medical leave salary, social security scheme amount, refund towards Contribution made to institute of Road Transport with interest at the rate of 18% per annum from 30.04.2013 to till the date on which the said benefits are settled to him .

ORDER

The contempt petition has been filed to commit and punish the respondents for their willful disobedience of the order passed by this Court in W.P.(MD)No.1793 of 2016, dated 28.01.2016.

2. Heard Mr.A.Rahul, learned counsel for the petitioner, Mr.K.Sathyasingh, learned counsel for the first contemnor and Mr.A.P.Muthupandian, learned counsel for the second contemnor.

3. The learned counsel for the contemnors would submit that the computation and other entire benefits have already been paid to the petitioner and they undertake to pay the interest within a period of two months from the date of receipt of copy of this order. In case of non-compliance, the petitioner can revive the contempt application.

4. Recording the above submission, this contempt petition is closed. No costs.
