...Contemnors /Respondents Prayer: Contempt Petition is filed under Section 11 of Contempt of Courts Act 1971, to initiate contempt proceedings against the contemnors / respondents and punish them for their willful disobedience of the order passed by this Court in W.P.(MD)No.13991 of 2015, dated 21.01.2016.

Prayer in WP(MD)No.13991 of 2015:- Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ or Order or Direction or in the nature of Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to settle retirement benefits of the petitioner including Gratuity, Leave Salary, the commuted value of pension, Refund of Institute of Road, Transport contribution and all other attendant benefits with interest at the rate of 18% per annum within the time that may be stipulated by this Court and further directing the respondents to pay the petitioner interest at the rate of 18% https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

per annum for the belated payment of the Cholan Employees Security Scheme arrears within the time limit that may be fixed by this Court.

The contempt petition has been filed to initiate contempt proceedings against the contemnors / respondents and punish them for their willful disobedience of the order passed by this Court in W.P. (MD)No.13991 of 2015, dated 21.01.2016.

2. Heard Mr.A.Rahul, learned counsel for the petitioner, Mr.D.Sivaraman, learned counsel for the first and second Respondents, Mr.A.P.Muthupandian, learned counsel for the third respondent and perused the records.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned counsel for the respondents submitted that the entire terminal benefits have been settled to the petitioner with interest amount on commutation.

4. In view of the above submission, this contempt petition is closed. No costs.
