Heard both sides.

2.The writ petitioners have lands near the petition mentioned water body. The grievance of the writ petitioners is that on account of excessive filling of water in the petition mentioned tank, there is a discharge and consequential inundation of the writ petitioners' agricultural lands. To forbear the respondents from doing so, this writ petition has been filed. 3.When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Special Government Pleader on written instructions states that the petition mentioned water body receives inflow from Radhapuram canal and other inlets. The respondent states that the department will monitor the situation and ensure that there is no inundation on the writ petitioners' agricultural lands. They also assure this Court that the water level in the petition mentioned tank will be maintained.

4.Recording the stand of the respondent, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
