Prayer in CRL OP(MD)No.1110 of 2015 :

To direct the 2nd respondent to transfer the case pending before the 1st respondent in Cr. No. 13/2014 to any other higher officer under the supervision of the 2nd respondent to investigate and to file a final report within a stipulated tiem as fixed by this Honourable Court.

************* This Contempt Petition has been filed to punish the respondent for his wilful disobedience of the order passed by this Court in Crl.O.P.(MD)No.1110 of 2015, dated 07.08.2015. 2.Heard Mr.D.Nallathambi, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.VR.Shanmuganathan, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondent.

No.1110 of 2015, dated 07.08.2015 has been complied with, as the investigation of the case in Anti Land Grabbing Special Cell, Thanjavur, Crime No.13 of 2014 is transferred from the Inspector of Police, Anti Land Grabbing Special Cell, Thanjavur to the Inspector of Police, Thanjavur Medical College Hospital Police Station for further investigation. He further submitted that in pursuant to the investigation, charge sheet has also been filed on 12.04.2017. 4.In view of the submission made by the learned Special Government Pleader, this Contempt Petition is closed.
