ORDER

The petitioner is a practising Advocate and according to him, he is having some agricultural lands near Gundaru area, Thiruchuli. The petitioner claims that the fourth respondent is indulging in illegal quarrying of sand from river Gundaru and the following cases are pending against him for the offence under the Mines and Minerals Act, apart from IPC offence:- S.No.

Therefore, the petitioner has made a representation to the respondents to initiate action as against the fourth respondent under Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 1982. Alleging that the said representation has not been considered, the petitioner has moved this writ petition.

2.This writ petition, which was filed in the year 2017, was kept pending even without any notice. This Court, on 01.03.2023, ordered notice to the fourth respondent and also permitted the petitioner to take private notice. 3.It appears that the petitioner has not taken any steps to take private notice, as ordered by this Court. Considering the conduct of the petitioner and the nature of relief sought for in the representation, this Court is not inclined to entertain this writ petition. Accordingly, this writ petition is dismissed. No costs.
