3.Today, when the Writ Petitions were taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Government Pleader for the official respondents has produced a current status report filed by the District Revenue Officer, Trichy District and submitted that subsequent to filing of these Writ Petitions, acquisition proceedings were completed and appropriate compensation has already been given to the land owners and thereafter, the acquired lands have been utilized for various public purposes and buildings have also been constructed thereon. 4.The said statement has not been refuted by the learned counsel for the respective parties.

5.In view of the above, nothing survives in these Writ Petitions and the Writ Appeal, accordingly, the same are closed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed. [R.M.D., J.] & [J.S.N.P., J.] 15.11.2022 Index : Yes / No Internet : Yes / No Myr
