ORDER

This criminal original petition has been filed seeking a direction to the second and third respondents not to harass the petitioners. 2.Admittedly, the first petitioner is the wife of the fourth respondent and the second petitioner is the brother of the first petitioner. 3.The learned Counsel appearing for the petitioners would submit that on the basis of the complaint sent by the fourth respondent to the police officials and the Hon'ble Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, the police officials from the second and third respondent police station have been directing the petitioners to appear for enquiry and started to harass them.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police would submit that the petitioners gave a complaint and only on that basis, summons was issued directing them to appear before the second respondent for enquiry.

5.Admittedly, it is a matrimonial dispute. Hence the second respondent is directed to follow the dictum laid down in the case of Lalita Kumari Vs. Government of Uttar Pradesh and Others reported in (2014) 2 SCC 1 and pass orders in accordance with law, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6.With the above direction, this criminal original petition stands disposed of.
