This Writ Petition is filed for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the third respondent to forthwith release and deliver the original sale deed Document No.115/2016, dated 08.01.2016 to the petitioner, by considering her representation, dated 30.03.2016.

2. The case of the petitioner is that her father-in-law executed a registered sale deed dated 08.01.2016 in favour of the petitioner vide Document No.115 at Sub Registrar Office, Theni, the third respondent herein. The petitioner has paid necessary stamp duty for the same. Though the third respondent had registered the above said sale deed on 08.01.2016, till now he is refusing to release the document. Hence, the petitioner has sent a representation to the respondents on 30.03.2016. But 2/5

the same was not considered by the respondents.

Mr.K.S.Selvaganesan, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents would submit that the said Document No. 115 of 2016 was executed by one T.Parameswaran (Principal) and K.Rajendran (Power Agent) in favour of one D.Mehala, the petitioner herein and then she has also executed a general power of attorney on 12.11.2019 in Document No.8952 of 2019 in favour of one Bhavani. The said Bhavani and Mehala as a general power of attorney holder and as owner sold the same on 29.05.2020 in favour of one Aravindhan in Document No.2981 of 2020.

4. In view of the above, nothing survives in the present writ petition. Hence, this Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs. 14.09.2022 Index:Yes/No Internet:Yes/No akv 3/5
