Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to issue Legal heir Certificate and Non Employment Certificate to the petitioner on the basis of the petitioner's representation dated 17.08.2024, within a time frame fixed by this Court.

ORDER

This writ petition has been filed directing the respondents to issue Legal heir Certificate and Non Employment Certificate to the petitioner on the basis of the petitioner's representation dated 17.08.2024. 2.The petitioner's husband died on 10.08.2023. The petitioner as a nominee to receive monthly family pension, she has sent a representation on 17.08.2024 to the respondents. The said application was rejected on 08.09.2023 on the ground that the deceased husband of the petitioner had another wife and son. Therefore, the prayer sought for in this writ petition cannot be considered and the writ petition is itself devoid of merits and is liable to be dismissed. However, the petitioner is at liberty to give a fresh application for issuance of legal heir certificate in the manner known to law. 3.In view of the above, this writ petition stands dismissed.
