Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of Cr.PC., praying to direct the respondent herein to register the complaint given by the petitioner dated 28.07.2015 and to take necessary action within the time stipulated by this Honble Court.

O R D E R

Heard the learned Counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) appearing for the respondent.

2. It is seen that this petitioner has lodged a complaint dated 28.07.2015 to the respondent police and since no action was taken, this petitioner filed a petition in Crl.O.P.(MD)No.17006 of 2015 for a direction to the respondent police to register the F.I.R. dated 28.07.2015. On 02.09.2015, this Court passed the following order in Crl.O.P.(MD)No.17006 of 2015:

" Considering the rival submission made on both sides, the respondent is directed to consider the report received from the Social Welfare Officer concerned and after receipt of the same, the respondent shall expedite the enquiry and follow the dictum laid down in Lalitha Kumari Vs. Govt. of U.P. & Others (2013(4) Crimes 243 (SC) and register a case, if any cognizable offence is made out."

3. Alleging that the respondent had not complied with the order dated 02.09.2015, the present contempt petition was filed.

4. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) submitted that the respondent police waited for receiving a copy of the report of the Social Welfare Officer and after receiving the same, the complaint dated 28.07.2015 was closed on https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

04.01.2016. A copy of the closure report is also furnished to the learned Counsel for the petitioner across the bar.

5. Recording the same, this Contempt petition is closed with liberty to the petitioner to work out her remedy in the manner known to law. Sd/- Assistant Registrar(AS) /True Copy/ Sub Assistant Registrar(CS) Madurai Bench of Madras High Court, Madurai-23.
