Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court To issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for the records relating to the notice No.1/2011 dated 08.11.2011 of the 1st respondent and quash the same and direct the 1st respondent to return document bering No.1916 of 2009 registered on 20.04.2009 in the office of the 1st respondent to the petitioner.

ORDER

This Contempt Petition has been filed to punish the respondent herein for his willful disobedience of the order, dated 17.04.2014 passed by this Court in W.P(MD)No.4811 of 2012. 2.According to the petitioner, this Court by an order, dated 17.04.2014 directed the respondent to return the document. Since the document has not been returned, the petitioner has filed the present Contempt Petition.

3.When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent would submit that already the document has been returned.

4.The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that there is encumbrance made stating that proceedings under Section 47A of the Stamp Act is pending and in fact, already the proceedings has been closed.

5.In view of the above submission, nothing survives for adjudication in the Contempt Petition. Accordingly, this Contempt Petition is closed.
