This Writ Petition has been filed seeking issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to grant permission to install an Aavin Kiosk at the third respondent premises by considering the petitioner's representation, dated 31.07.2017.
2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner was given permission to run Aavin booth in the third respondent Hospital for the period between 2010-2013, but after allotting the space, they have not chosen to fix the rent and hence, the petitioner was not in a position to run the Aavin booth for the said period and that though he has applied for renewal of the license, the same was not considered.
3. When the matter is taken up for hearing today (i.e., 18.04.2024), the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents would submit that if the petitioner produce the recommendation letter from the Aavin Department, they are ready to consider his representation. 2/5

Considering the above facts and circumstances and also the submission made by the learned Special Government Pleader, the petitioner is directed to give a fresh representation along with required documents and also the letter from the Aavin department recommending the petitioner for installing the booth and on receipt of the same, the first respondent is directed to consider the same and pass orders in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of representation.
5. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed. No costs. 18.04.2024 NCC :yes/No Index :yes/No Internet:yes/No das 3/5
