PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Certiorarified Mandamus calling for the records pertaining to the proceedings of the 4th respondent impugned communication in No.G.5/TAC/2016-18/18 at Tirunelveli-627003, dated,15.07.2017 and to quash the same as violation of equity and natural justice and in violation of the 1st respondent DoT Circular No.8-01/2004-PHP dated 10.09.2004 and consequently direct the respondents to permit the petitioner to complete the tenure of Telecom Advisory Committee Membership,Tirunelveli Telecom District and to reconvert the petitioner's landline telephone connection No.0462-2342341 from personal capacity to Telecom Advisory Committee category. 2/6

This writ petition was filed in the year 2017 challenging the orders passed by the Assistant General Manager of BSNL. By the order impugned in this writ petition, the petitioner's tag membership was cancelled by the respondent.
2.When this writ petition was taken up for hearing on 18.01.2024, there was no representation for the petitioner. Therefore, this writ petition is listed today under the caption ''for dismissal.'' Even today, there is no representation for the petitioner. 3.The learned counsel for the respondent submits that the relief sought for by the petitioner in this writ petition has now become infructuous.

4.In view of the submission made on behalf of the respondents and since there is no representation for the petitioner even after providing sufficient opportunity to the petitioner, this writ petition is dismissed. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous petition is closed.
